We won’t return here We stayed in Mankato Quality Inn on Aug.3, 2024. It was not the best room we have stayed at. We noted bedspread stains. The tub and toilet had not been scrubbed for some time. We had one washcloth but did not notice until shower time in the morning. The electrical outlets were not “tight” enough to hold the plug in place for charging phones and watches overnight. The breakfast area was low on supplies (eggs, cream cheese, peanut butter). No one tended to the area for cleaning or restocking while we ate and that was at 7:30 with more than an hour of serving time remaining. The hot tubs jets were not working . We were not notified of this at check in. No one was at the desk at check out. This has all been shared with Quality Inn on the day of our check out via their email to us checking on our stay. There are many hotels close by to choose from for our next stay.

DO NOT BOOK HERE During check-in, the registration assistant took out his phone and was aiming it at my credit card and ID while speaking in another language. I could not tell if he was taking pictures, but it felt very shady. Then another man came out of a back room and completed our registration. Our initial room had broken interior locks and a strong mold odor. After requesting a change, the next room lacked the mold smell but had a soiled bedspread (with an unfortunate outline of a woman's nether region...Use your imagination), and yellowed sheets with holes. The bathroom towels were yellow and stained, and the door frame had an unsettling substance. As I exited through the back door of the hotel, a lady warned me about roaches. I slept on my own blanket after stripping the bed linens. Overall, this was the dirtiest hotel experience I’ve ever encountered. It was midnight and we did not feel like hunting for another hotel room at that time, so we slept there against our better judgment.

Manager told us to leave because he was tired and wasn't feeling like dealing with us This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. We did not stay the night it was disgusting!!! First off, we mentioned some one in our family has an dog allergy and we asked if we could be away from any animal excepting rooms. The guy assured us there would not be an issue. However there was dog hair everywhere. Fingerprints all over the mirrors and headboards. There was mold on the shower curtain and the bathroom was overall very dirty and Rusty. We then asked to be moved rooms due to the allergy in our family and we got another room that was even worse than the first there was mold and hair all over the shower and curtain. There was food and fingernails all in the mattress there is hair on the sheets, still dog hair in the room. We went to the front desk to ask the receptionist (Who happened to be the manager) If this room was up to the hotels standards, he said "No it's not but I think you should find a different hotel to stay at because I am feeling tired and did not want to deal with this". This was a very disappointing hotel to say the least. I am very happy we decided to stay somewhere else. Will not be booking choice in the further!

Never stay here Recently stayed at this property and have been trying to contact the manager for almost a week now. Manager will not get back to me. Room was full of mold, ptac unit full of dust. Use the public bathroom and it was nothing but the smell of pee and the toilet paper was full of dry urine.

Not impressed ! If it weren’t for the fact that we had traveled 11 hours and that there was a sporting event in town, I would have found another hotel.
The front desk person was very nice when you could hear him because the breakfast nook is in the lobby which was filled with a very loud family.
The room - omg ! After walking on the carpet a few times my white socks were literally black ! We brought our own pillows - we were afraid to look at the pillows after seeing the gross stained towels, and should have been turned into rags they were SO worn and frayed, which we only had enough of for one person in a two bed room (?)
The bathroom was disgusting !!! The door and mop board were water stained. Mold around the tub fixtures, the toilet was wobbly.
The corners of the room were dust covered. Small trash pieces up against the bed frame. The curtains looked like a cat scratched at them.
I paid nearly $300 for a filthy disgusting room !!
I’m really trying to think of something positive …. the refrigerator worked, but the ice was so built up in the freezer you couldn’t use it. The microwave was clean. I didn’t even consider using the coffee maker, so I bought a small one to use.
I do not recommend this hotel, at all !!
