Could be much better.. Rooms are pretty dark The A/ C was old and noisy : not easy to sleep with it working The road is very closed to some rooms , so the hotel proposes ear plugs.. The pool was closed without notice… kids were not happy.. No recycling bins,, So I don’t recommend

Friendly employees Teresa from the Office Desk was so polite and really friendly. The lodge is perfectly located in Mariposa, nice restaurants are close to the lodge and the rooms are very big, clean and comfortable. There’s everything you need before you go earlie or not so earlie to the Yosemite Nationalpark.

Pleasant place to stay, about 45-60 minutes from Yosemite This was a very pleasant place to stay, though a considerable (45-60 min) drive from Yosemite either route you take. The parking was a little tight, but manageable as a place was always open when we came "home" from the park each day. Note to future guests - watch out for larger vehicles coming in and out and back up very carefully! The place was clean and well cared for, though certainly not new. The staff were friendly, efficient, and respected our request for "Do Not Disturb" the room during the days of our 3-day visit. The desk attendant was kind when we called back after checkout and walked across to the vacated room looking for my wife's shoes (as it turned out, they were under her car seat (!)) The appliances all worked well. The check-in and check-out instructions were thorough. The prices seemed high to us Idahoans, but they were in line with the rest of the market. Thanks!

Great Customer Service and hosts Our time a Mariposa Lodge was excellent. The property is convenient to stores, restaurants, and Yosemite. The property is well kept, clean, and the staff is friendly. The room was spacious, clean, smelled great, and the bed was comfortable. We rested and slept well after all day hikes at Yosemite. We had to leave early due to the French Fire and this is where the staff demonstrated care and concern for their guests. We could not find our way back into town after 140 coming from Yosemite was closed, we finally found our way and we spoke to our host. She insisted on waiting for us to get back to the property so we could pack our belongings and find accommodations in another city. I appreciate the care and concern demonstrated by our host. You can forget peoples names, things they told you, or how they looked but you will never forget how they made you feel! The staff at Mariposa Lodge is tops in my opinion and we will be back in the near future.

Would not select this again. The smell in the room was hard to deal with. Stains on the carpet (possibly dog pee), hair in the bath tub. They offered to move us in a different room but being there only for 2 nights we decided not to take the offer. Motel has a pool but was closed (can’t say anything about its condition).
