Ocean Creek Resort

Fabulous!!! We own a unit at Ocean Creek. Upon arrival, we noticed how spotless the place was. The walk to the ocean thru the community is lovely. I believe the beach is the most beautiful in all of Myrtle beach. The employees at the reception are fabulous!!! They go out of the way to make sure you have everything you need. It really is such a happy place!!

Great clean location with great staff, dreaming of heated pools Extended stay in rental for spring, with great views and lots of amenities. Lots of natural walkways and beautiful access to beach, trails, water ways. Long walk else short drive to shops and restaurants. Love the beach side bar with high deck to look at coastline. Road the nearby banana boat in ocean, played bocce ball and catch on beach, wondered around the jelly fish washed up on shore, hunted for shells. Others liked golfing, we didn’t go. Very clean beach, clean onsite amenities, and clean facilities. Lots of carts for hauling your stuff up and down elevators. Overall excellent experience in condo rentals Wishlist: -coffee near by beach in morning, felt like nothing around for miles…only BYOB. Anything delivery was not reliable so out of luck if without a car until restaurant further away started to open later. -more/faster elevator access else easier access to badge into the stairs. Ways for stairs to go down but not up. On check-in days for other people then it was miserable to stand in line. -More regulation of kids too young to be in hot tub, also since it prevented any of the rest of us from ever using it. -Similarly to hot tub, potentially better solution would be at least one onsite large heated pool, even if it had an up-charged access to keep maintaining it. Given 7+ moths of the year have cold night temps and <75 degree mid-day throughout the year, we spoke to a lot of nearby guests and residents who said they would’ve paid extra for access to warmer water and could’ve enjoyed actual swimming on these days.

Good place This place was in the perfect location! We walked to Barefoot Landing multiple times from our place! You could definitely tell it was an older resort that was being remodeled, but that didn't affect our trip much. The biggest thing I noticed was the flooring outside the rooms being a little squishy/soft in some areas, but I know they're working on renovations so it didn't bother me much. The room we got was freshly renovated and nice for just the two of us (we were on our anniversary trip). It looked over one of the courtyards and was located in the perfect spot. It took maybe 5 minutes to walk down to the beach and maybe 10 to hit up Barefoot landing! We walked the beach every evening and even hit up the sunrise one morning! Its a great place to stay. There are several pools on the property too, inside or outside, so take your pick!

Beautiful and Relaxing The resort property is beautiful. Well maintained and clean. The pool area by the beach with the beach bar is awesome. The pina coladas are the best. Our room was clean and updated and very nice. We had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

The food was nice but needed to have little more variety. However, the barmen at the Tamtam and poolside bar, Siven and Sahil were very helpful and friendly. Both were very welcoming and attentive to our orders. Great experience ❤️
