Super 8 by Wyndham San Antonio Downtown NE

Fake continental breakfast smelly halls , busted bathroom door. The bathroom door had a hole in it and wouldn’t lock as jam was busted, the front door lock mechanism was slightly off , the elevator and lobby stunk , they don’t have continental breakfast. They give you a bag with an apple a yogurt and a granola bar, the location is close to downtown and most attractions . But far from gas stations our window wouldn’t close completely.

Disappointing This place is not worth it at all. Looks nice but it’s a lot of issues here. For starters they claim to offer breakfast. Judging by the pictures you think it’s going to be a hot breakfast. Nope. It’s literally yogurt and an apple in a bag. And expect staff to be super rude just because you asking a simple question. Janet to be exact had the worst attitude. I felt like I was bothering her? The next issue I had was the refrigerator did not work in my room. I informed the staff about this nothing was done. I stayed for two nights I would think while I was out they would have got around to it but they never did. Never even responded to me about the issue. The WiFi does not work in the rooms like they claim. I went down to the lobby to try and get the attendant to come see what I’m talking about but they would not give me the time of day. The whole experience is very upsetting. Had I had known these issues I would have not stayed here. I’ve emailed “Mr.Patel” the manager/owner who ever he is. The staff doesn’t seem to know for some reason but they gave me his email to contact about my concerns and a refund. I’ve only requested partial refund due to the WiFi not working and the refrigerator being out but I have not received a response from this person at all.

Beware wouldn’t allow a refund after my son’s event was cancelled- No need for me to travel to San Antonio-

Completely poor customer experience Being a Wyndham member I was not advised of the security deposit, which was not a problem until my card was charged when I didn’t even stay at the hotel, and then, every representative that I spoke to with super eight and with Wyndham customer care was rude and didn’t want to speak to me. I was advised that I would be getting a call back and or an email which I never received From a supervisor, they refunded me for one night, but not the other, but will not explain to me. Why nor will they reach back out to me.

Deposit never refunded The things I liked were it was safe (no one’s cars were broken into during stockshow unlike other hotels) it had a microwave and fridge. Things I didn’t like were condition of room, filthy blanket, and they don’t seem too eager to refund the $100 deposit they charged. Also there’s no breakfast like in the photos you are led to believe. It’s a granola bar and yogurt in a bag. If you want to check in even just a few minutes before 3pm they charge more for that even if the room is ready. So it was just ok and now I am fighting to get the deposit back after they promised it gets returned at 11am which is check out time that 6am is not check out time. Half the outlets do not work in the room and looked actually burnt.
