If you haven't seen Belmont Park lately, you haven't seen Belmont Park! I was stunned at the transition. The last time I was there it was an aging, rather seedy little place that was OK for kids, but not of much interest to adults. Now it is a new, beautiful, clean place of beauty with lots to look at, plenty of rides, better snack bars and high-end restaurants upstairs. There are several stores that shoppies like me will really enjoy. I loved every second of our time there, and my grandkies had a ball with their all-day ride bracelets. I will definitely be going back with other family members and visitors. Thanks to the brilliant persons who transformed Belmont Park in a place that makes San Diego proud.

Took the 5 o’clock boat and saw 5 whales! Saw both blue and fin whales. Also saw some seal lions. Our guide had great facts about all the animals. However, very cold. Dress warm!
