58 yo post menopausal woman here, dx with osteoporosis Dec 2024. Interested in body composition in addition to bone density information/changes. (Yes, I am followed by an endocrinologist for this but the medical DXA doesn't provide body composition information). Follow the (temporary looking) signs to DXA SCAN THIS WAY as the suite is shared with other businesses. The Certified Bone Densitometry Technologist (CBDT) checked me in, gave me instructions, performed the scan and interpreted the results. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Parking was metered on street in a busy area so leave extra time for that. I will do a follow up scan if I see another Groupon discount, absolutely.
