Golfers could spend a whole day at Brooklea Golf & Country Club without hitting the same shot twice. With 27 holes of tee-to-green terrain and a practice facility with a 300-yard driving range, a 6,000-square-foot chipping and putting green, and a short-game area with practice bunker, the complex gives golfers the chance to work on all facets of their game. As the course's grassy centerpiece, the 18-hole championship course unrolls 6,587 yards of tree-lined fairways and fast, bent-grass greens pinched by the occasional water hazard or bunker filled with silica sand. Measuring 1,750 yards, the 9-hole West course packs four par 4s and five par 3s into an abbreviated layout so players can conveniently squeeze a quick round into their schedule without drilling holes into their office floors.

Borden Golf Club has been a golfers’ sanctuary since its nine-hole course was sculpted into the rolling countryside in 1917, an emerald landscape that has expanded into a 18-hole golf complex. Circled Pine Golf Course ambles over 6,488 yards of contoured fairways and small greens. The course’s most difficult hole, the 448-yard, par 4 15th, will test even scratch golfers as they must bend shots around a dogleg left and find driftwood on which to float their bag across a creek stationed 60 yards in front of the green. After rounds, Borden Golf Club’s Players Lounge offers refuelling fare for golfers in the form of chicken pot pie, steak, and a variety of burgers and sandwiches.
Hailed for its superb conditions, Springwater Golf Course challenges visitors with an 18-hole, par-72 layout that eclipses 6,200 yards from the tips. Though it isn't one of the handful of holes to feature water, the par-four seventh stands out as the course's toughest stop. Landing on the fairway off the tee is essential here, so golfers must make sure their balls stay straight and don't ping off any flying squirrels.
Despite such hurdles, Springwater's setup makes it a good learning course for juniors. It even offers free golfing for kids after 4 p.m. on Mondays, Fridays, and Sundays, when the purchase of an adult green fee includes one free fee for a junior aged 15 and younger.
Allandale Golf Course in Thornton provides an array of golf course options for golfers of all skill levels, including pro and beginner.
Parking is plentiful, so visitors can feel free to bring their vehicles.
