The answer is invariably a resounding no!
However, X-Train CC, of coarse, does have a fallback fitness center to avoid unfavorable weather conditions if need be.
Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged?
As a certified strength and conditioning specialist, my goal is to cater to every facet of one's over all fitness: strength, endurance, agility, speed/power, flexibility.... We achieve this with multiple bootcamp formats: i.e. Extreme camps, cardio camps, beginner camps, total-body workouts, etc.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Here at X-Train, we believe that one of the purposes of life is simply to help other human beings progress in one way or another. We want to help citizens create a legacy of health and wellness for future generations to thrive on in their respective communities. Our goal is your longevity!
What do you love most about your job?
People are all so diverse. Attempting to aid so many individuals in this great melting pot of a country we live in greatly increases my ability to be an effective trainer.
Lifestyles vary and though I see the equation for results very clearly, administering to the masses is a challenge.
Results Personal Training enlists certified male and female trainers to piece together personalized fitness and nutrition plans that target time-specific fitness goals and allow for anytime onsite access. When paired with a client, each trainer crafts a program geared toward desired results—such as muscle gain or weight loss—and an ultimate end date, which can correspond with upcoming weddings or long-awaited preschool reunions. One-hour workout sessions then draw on an armory of free weights and Pilates balls to activate different muscle groups and prevent bodies from adapting to the routine. With trainers always on standby, clients can walk in on the hour to start a training program without an appointment and report to the center an unlimited number of times per week.
Before each patron’s first workout, an on-staff nutritionist outlines a healthy meal plan customized to his or her needs. Each menu includes the amount of calories that they should consume per meal and day, a list of foods that rev up metabolisms, and arguments to convince tomatoes that they are vegetables. Clients can visit their nutritionists at any point during their membership, and weekly analyses of their progress ensure that they are staying well on track to meet their health objectives.
Trainer and fitness guru Justin Bradshaw modeled SGT. H20's CombatSwim after the rigorous training he received as an Army diver. His challenging exercises encourage full-body fitness, using workouts that build stamina, boost metabolism, improve swimming skills, and promote weight loss. Incorporating the best of land-based cross-training systems, CombatSwim includes plenty of high-intensity interval training and pulse-hiking calisthenics. In the pool, water adds extra resistance that amplifies the effects of the exercises, which include swimming sprints, endurance swimming, and treading water with weights. Designed to sharpen the mind as well as the body, CombatSwim leaves exercisers with the same confidence and conditioning as some of the world's elite military warriors.
Fortunately for Abel, and every member of Pure Fitness Solutions, his brand-new facility is open 24/7. Amid a rock-climbing wall, a childcare center, locker rooms, showers, and workout spaces full of boot-camp classes and Zumba are enough free weights and cardio equipment to carve out a diamond-hard body. And roaming amid all these are fellow N.A.S.M–certified personal trainers keeping their clients on track and accountable. In fact, every new member who signs up receives a complimentary fitness assessment by one of these personal trainers, providing immediate feedback about the client's physical condition and recommendations about how to get in shape and live a healthy, fit lifestyle.
Gymnastics rings dangle from the ceiling and flags dress the walls at SeaCity CrossFit, where workouts draw inspiration from Olympic sports such as weightlifting, gymnastics, cycling, and running. Here, experienced coaches stress form and posture during training sessions that incorporate strength and cardio exercises. The trainers focus on performance and skill acquisition as students use tools such as kettlebells, medicine balls, and sandbags to perform functional exercises. They’ll tailor movements to a variety of fitness levels to ensure that every participant, whether they’re pro athletes or infrequent exercisers, gets the most out of their workouts.
Kaisen, the trainer behind Corpus Christi Parkour, has an unusual relationship with gravity. While most other humans accept that they'll remain bound to the earth by its invisible pull, Kaisen challenges its forces through rapid, airborne moves known only to parkour experts and students of the gloves-made-of-chewed-gum school of acrobatics. He shares those skills during lessons held in settings such as Heritage Park, teaching students how to scale virtually any obstacle while simultaneously improving their flexibility and strength. Kaisen also leads children's fitness classes, boot-camp workouts, and personal-training sessions.
