Captain Drew, Sophia and Nic were our crew. Sophia was amazing! She was very knowledgeable and shared interesting info about the local Orca families.  We deparated from Anacortes and followed Sidney, BC - Anacortes, WA ferry route to the NW side of San Juan Island. We saw 5 Orcas / Killer Whales, a Sea Otter, Sea Lions, Seals, Bald Eagles, and Deer and Goats off Spieden Island. Very enjoyable!

The day pass got expensive lately. What used to be $30 became $40 became $48. The Geoupon discount makes it more affordable.

This is a really fun zoo! However, if you are going to take small children (under 6), I strongly advise you bring a stroller and snacks. The exhibits are far apart so there's a significant amount of walking. I took my nieces (3 & 5) it would have been too much had we not had the stroller. I would also suggest you get to the zoo early as possible because we didn't make it to all exhibits.

This place is INCREDIBLE!!! I have done hair laser removal in other places and always was quite painful. NOT HERE! You definitely can feel the "hair" being pulled but it is quite fine when comes to the pain, also, we need to say that it is super fast! I truly recommend this place!
