$15 for $30 Worth of Asian-Fusion Cuisine

The dinner menu focuses on Asian-fusion cuisine that includes recipes from China, Thailand, and Japan. Fresh seafood features prominently, including banana-wrapped orange roughy ($24) and Cajun-spiced sea scallops ($24).

Dishes such as pineapple-infused hawaiian duck add a tropical twist to more traditional Thai entrees that range from pad thai ($13+) to lemongrass ($7).

Lemongrass

Bold, earthy paintings line the canary-yellow walls of Lemongrass, but they have to contend with the vibrant spreads of sushi and pad thai that top the plates at the pan-Asian bistro. Sushi, sashimi, and nigiri options run the gamut from barbecue eel and asparagus to a specialty Manhattan roll glazed with shrimp caviar. A lighter lunch menu presents smaller portions of the dinner entrees, along with handheld options such as chicken bacon and shrimp-tempura wraps. An extensive wine menu complements the dinner and lunch menus, and the tempting dessert menu catalogs fried plantains and mango sorbet served in a mango rind.

The Groupon Guide to: Science-Fair Projects

As the school year continues to heat up, it's time to start thinking about this year's science fair. Here's a list of science projects that will help you win the science competition at your school:

  • A homemade volcano, but you add chunks of hot dog to the baking soda/vinegar mixture to get texture and flavor
  • Use your homemade potato battery to send an electric current through your braces. Then tell people at your table, "My mouth's an outlet, plug in your phone."
  • In front of poster that says "What would life be like without photosynthesis?" place two pizzas side by side, one with green peppers and one without.
  • Just put out a clear plastic case and label it "air."
  • Perform the most challenging live science experiment of all—seeing if you can get your parents back together at your grade-school science fair.

Why do my braces always smell like potato?
