Designed for all levels of photographers, the DC Monuments walking photography tour acquaints shutterbugs with DC through the lens of their own cameras. A guide explains basic photography techniques such as camera features, lighting, and composition as attendees stroll through DC’s avenues and snap shots of monuments such as the Washington Monument, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the Korean War Veterans Memorial, and the Lincoln Memorial. This tour meets on Mondays and Fridays at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays at 1 p.m. All groups converge at the Federal Triangle Metro Train Station at 302 12th Street Northwest.
