After 18 years spent helping her clients get the hairstyles of their dreams, Kara Evans was finally able to realize her own lifelong dream of opening her own salon. Since March of 2012, she’s helmed the wheel of Bella Tula Salon, where her scissoring and hair coloring skills are complemented by other aesthetic services such as special occasion makeup. Hair remains her greatest passion, however, so she pulls products by Kuene and Pureology to aid her as she tends to the tresses of both men and women. Beyond custom cuts, her specialties include corrective color and thermal straightening, as well as children’s mohawks, which give kids the extra inches they need to finally ride roller coaters by themselves.
Addison Park Place Salons features numerous styling stations, shampoo stations, hair-setting stations, and a dozen private rooms for in-depth beauty treatments?everything from salon treatments to facials, make-up, and massage. You can find Eve Samples helming one of these stations, teasing, styling, and shaping her client's hair. Eve offers treatments such as blowouts and keratin treatments, which renders hair silky and as straight as a snake afraid to eat its own tail.
Joyce Wilson, a cosmetologist at Legacy Salon, prides herself on being able to craft hairstyles for any member of the family. She cuts integrates layers into long hair or texturizes short hair with equal adeptness, but her favorite part of the job is creating highlights.

For 23 years, Adrienne—owner of Exotic Hair Designs by Adrienne—has trimmed, extended, and shaved hair as both a stylist and a barber. She continues to turn her shears to the hair of men, women, and children, sculpting ladies' hair to fit the latest trends or providing a gentle neck massage after a classic men's cut. With weave and glue, she affixes extensions to hair or eyelashes to create a naturally full look or add color and sparkle to unlikely places. She capably crafts even the most high maintenance styles for clients, including such dos as mohawks and full-neck lions’ manes.
Jerome Hagood loved his job at Hair Art & Co so much that he decided to stay for good. So he and his wife Rhonda bought the business in 2004. Seven years later, they moved to a new location, where they continue to beautify clients just as the salon’s original owner had since 1983. The current team includes hairstylists, aestheticians, and a horde of invisible friends. Together, they keep customers looking sharp with haircuts, mani-pedis, facials, waxing, and more.
Studio Suites at Reflections' licensed cosmetologists share more than 35 years of experience between them. Erica Tanniehill specializes in nail grooming and hair services, while Valerie Fails focuses on hair health and is well versed in bi-racial styling and working with hair textures of all sorts. Inside their studio, they offer deep treatment silk hair masks, cutting and styling, cornrows, and two-strand twists. With an emphasis on sanitation and sterilization, they also perform pedicures and manicures, and can wax away unwanted fuzz from brows, lips, chins, and most sweaters.
