Stand-up jokester Michael Blackson channels his West African roots to bust guts during an evening of nonstop snickers and guest cameos. Inspired by giggle guru Eddie Murphy, Blackson's exotic style received national exposure during his appearance in the film Next Friday, as well as HBO's Def Comedy Jam and P. Diddy Presents: The Bad Boys of Comedy. While guests sip drinks and sop up spilled laughs with a napkin, the dashiki-sheathed Blackson will dispense a steady stream of jocular jabs, covering such subjects as his adolescence and time spent adjusting to American culture. Special guest comedian Tony Black warms up audience chuckle engines alongside jester Rion Evans, who has appeared on the Monique Show. Also on the bill, musical act Atiba sends toes a-tappin' with energized jams and rhythmic readings of several shampoo bottles.

Teaching hips to swivel to new circumferences, dance instructors impart their masterful moves unto students in the respected tradition Arthur Murray schools have upheld since 1912. Students can bring a partner to their lessons or fly solo and dance with the instructor. Protégés may find their new moves applicable in a number of settings, such as when prepping for a wedding dance or when blending into an airport crowd that breaks out in the cha-cha. Embodying the three-count time of a stately waltz brings partners in close, and rumba moves or swing steps add vibrancy and playfulness to a repertoire.

The Orlando studio provides a warm, aesthetically sound environment for engaging in private and group dance lessons. The full class schedule is well suited to teaching feet to slice and dice a rug until it is no longer recognizable.

Hershey Theatre

The Hershey Theatre, conceived in 1933 by noted philanthropist and chocolatier Milton S. Hershey, stands as an opulent tribute to the performing arts. Taking architectural cues from Saint Mark’s Basilica in Venice, the foyer’s towering arches gleam with golden paint and crystal chandeliers. The blue-and-gold mosaic that leads to the main seating area is the masterwork of two German artists who spent two years on its construction. Once inside the theater, audiences might think they’ve stepped onto the streets of Venice thanks to the atmospheric ceiling, stonework facades, and gondoliers paddling them to their seats. ####Bethel Woods Center for the Arts Music has permeated the 800 manicured acres where the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts has stood since 1969, when farmer Max Yasgur agreed to let love, peace, and harmony grow wild at the very first Woodstock festival. These days, the renowned outdoor venue and cultural center continues to attract the biggest acts in music to its pavilion stage. The open-air design ensures ample ventilation on the natural sloping lawn, and a roof protects up to 15,000 fans from inclement weather and the prying eyes of Cessna pilots.

Champion over the ghoulish attractions gracing all 18 holes at Monster Mini Golf. The Winter Garden location contains enough geometric challenges to make the course interesting for all ages. Navigate your illuminated golf ball past horrible goblins, a disgruntled swamp monster, impolite specters, and a scarecrow jack-in-the-box, or just stand in awe at the 3-D spectacle. Be sure to listen for Monster Mini Golf’s own in-house radio station, "W.I.R.D. (Weird Radio)," whose live, on-site DJ hands out prizes for random reasons on the links.

Helmed by coaching wunderkind Guy Boucher and managed by Hockey Hall of Famer Steve Yzerman, the ice-carving squad enthralls fans with powerful slapshots and magical hat tricks. Groupon getters can toast NHL history as they drink in the league's first bout at the new Amway Center, or anxiously gnaw lower-terrace seats as players slam into the glass just a few feet away. Center Steven Stamkos looks to lead the league in scoring after his 45 goals nabbed the No. 2 spot in the NHL last season. Veteran right-winger Martin St. Louis returns as well, after having filled up stat sheets with 68 assists, 99 points, and drawings of his pet kitty cat in 2010.
