I took a takeout platter of Shawarma, salad, hummus and falafel for lunch on 1/16/14.The turkey shawarma was totally inedible. They were dry, rubberized and un-chewable. They felt like small pieces of rubberized pellets. The falafel tasted old. There was practically no dressing on the salad. The only good part was the hummus but they did not give me much because there was not much left in the tray and the server had to scrape some off of the tray sides and corners. I am very disappointed. I will not go back.

The owner of the restaurant is not costumer friendly. The restaurant environment is not inviting. You must look carefully at their open hours. The food was mediocre and does not at all make up for the bad service.

Stop saying you accept LevelUp patments or fix it. There' say decal on the door and a scanner near the cash register, (sans cell phone) but you sat t's not working. It' sneer worked, AFAIK; I've tried on three occasions. LevelUp no longer lists you as a vendor, and the app doesn't show you as a LevelUp location.

From Our Editors

As what he calls a third generation “falafel-teer”, Rami Cohen opened his eatery in 1991, shortly after he and his wife Mirav relocated from Jerusalem to Boston. Over two decades later, the Cohens are still crafting kosher Middle Eastern specialties, earning praise from publications such as the Boston Globe, which writes that “what the restaurant does it does very well.” Cooks stuff golden-fried falafel, marinated turkey shawarma, ground beef kabobs, and grilled chicken inside fluffy pitas with homemade babaganoush and hummus or splayed across a platter with a fresh salad. Guest can order their feast at the counter and take a seat inside the small restaurant, or arrange for pick-up or delivery and enjoy their meal in the privacy of their neighbor's treehouse. Rami’s also offers catering, and sells hummus, babaganoush, and tahini by the pound.
