I put the FUN back into learning how-to play the drums. I teach all ages and levels of experience from beginners to advanced and professional drummers. My progressive teaching methods and 35+ years of drumming expertise will help you learn faster and easier. Get ready to have a rock'n good time!

Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?
I provide all learning materials. Just bring a pair of "sticks." My studio features Gretsch and Sonor drum sets as well as a state of the art sound system and massive music library for you to drum along to. You will also receive a FREE rudiment poster with your 1st drum lesson!

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
My love for drumming began in the late 1960s. I've studied with Joe Varhula, Tony Caselli and Jake Jerger - three of the finest Chicago area drum instructors. I was 14 years old when I first performed live. My Santana - "Soul Sacrifice" drum solo received a rousing standing ovation!

What do you love most about your job?
My lifelong love of drumming, love of music and enthusiasm are infectious. My teaching methods are very progressive. As a result, my students have an easier time learning and a lot more FUN! Many of my students have gone on to play professionally.
