The story of Cutting Crew began in 1964 with the Shaw family, who opened the first shop with the goal of providing high quality, low-priced family hair-care with convenient hours. Fifty years later, the company is still family-owned, with the third-generation operating over 80 salons in six states across the U.S. Though times have changed—from shampoo and sets in the 60's, big hair and shoulder pads in the 80's, and the anything-goes color of the 90's and today—Cutting Crew has stuck to the original family vision of affordable, excellent hair-care.
