I sent this email that day to the email address on their website, no reply as of yet. I attached a picture of the bartender on her cell phone, as that's how we saw her almost the entire time we were there.

Subject: Lunch today
A coworker and I came to lunch today, and we were totally not impressed. I had a Groupon to redeem that was about to expire…otherwise, we would have left before ordering. When we got there, the cook was waiting tables/tending bar. He took our drink orders, brought them, apologized that the bartender hadn’t shown up yet. A few minutes later, she arrived….and the picture attached is pretty much all we saw the rest of our visit. The cook came back, saw we were being ignored (the bartender never once spoke to us, acknowledged our presence, offered to refill our drinks), and took our food order. Then he served our burgers. When we finished eating, the bartender was still walking all around us, on her cell phone, and we couldn’t get her attention. The cook came back out, and we asked him if we could pay. He said something to the bartender, and she brought us our check, we paid. We totally feel that our tip should NOT go to the bartender….my friend paid the balance after the Groupon, and wrote “cook” on the top of the receipt next to server. The burgers and fries were great. Your cook was great. But your bartender needs a lesson in customer service.
Also, you really need to do something about the ventilation. Being a bar and grill, we expected to smell some cigarette smoke, but even to someone who isn’t really bothered by cigarette smoke, it was incredibly bad….and we only saw one lit cigarette (smoke by the bartender) while we were there. We had to get out the Febreze when we got back to work.
