What You'll Get
An education in the martial arts can give a child confidence, grant them discipline, and make their punching sound effects much more realistic. Help your kid grow with this Groupon.
Choose Between Two Options
- $69 for eight beginner’s tae kwon do classes for kids or adults with uniform and belt (up to a $174 value)

Feet slice through the air in the fast, high kicks that characterize tae kwon do as 5th and 6th Dan masters of the martial art provide instruction.

- $99 for a five-day Pirate Summer Camp (a $200 value). Choose from camps running Monday–Friday June 18–June 22, July 23–July 27, and August 20–August 24.

Kids kick off each camp day with a tae kwon do lesson before plunging into pirate-themed games such as Sharks and Minnows or Musical Islands. During the week, the camp takes field trips to Delhi Metropark to float the river, or pummels its way through the inflated impediments of the Xtreme Bounce Zone Obstacle Course. Each Friday session features pure water-sporting fun for kids and parents as the group heads to an island which conceals buried treasure and serves as a venue for a water-gun war and a Caribbean Cookout.

Though A2 Martial Arts sometimes features a discounted price online, this Groupon still offers the best deal available.

About A2 Martial Arts
Senior Master Dean L. Wainwright—a 6th Dan master in both tae kwon do and hap ki do—builds his team of instructors not only from other decorated masters, but also those students whose exceptional dedication and skill might help their peers learn the martial arts. Assistant instructor Brayden Visel, for instance, uses his massive talent and youthful stature to help educate Mini and Little Ninjas as young as 3 years old. Together, this team reaches out to students of all ages, engaging them in learning the swift, graceful kicks of tae kwon do or the soft, circular redirections of hap ki do, the only known method for fighting a revolving door.
