Minimum age is 5 years old.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
We seek to promote, spread, and support Brazilian arts and culture through the practice of capoeira, and to use our practice of capoeira and associated arts to build a healthy and more closely connected Washington, D.C.-area community.
What do you love most about your job?
We are not just teaching capoeira; we form a community of friends who encourage each other and learn from one another. We also make a point of giving back to those in need by promoting social campaigns such as blood, food, toys, and clothes donations so our students learn to be good citizens.
