The Amazing Oklahona City Comic Con takes place from Friday, November 20 to Sunday, November 22 at the Cox Convention Center.
Amazing Oklahoma City Comic Con
As the name suggests, comic books are the main draw at this year's Amazing Oklahoma City Comic Con. The con, which takes over the Cox Convention Center from November 20-22, invites guests to pour through stacks inside the vendor hall, searching each booth for the back issue or bit of pop culture ephemera looking its new collection. The con also welcome some of the men behind the characters; although the final list is still taking shape, this year's guest list include a docket of creators who've spawned iconic pop-cultural characters and beloved comic book heroes. Marvel creator and pouch enthusiast Rob Liefeld will be on hand to discuss his iconic creations, including Deadpool, the fourth-wall-breaking mercenary making his hotly-awaited big-screen star turn in 2016. Also on hand will be Kevin Eastman, one half of the creative team that brought the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to life. When they're not shaking hands and getting autographs, fans can converse with the comic book creators of today and tomorrow on the international artist's alley. The convention will also feature cosplay opportunities, a video game arena, and plenty of after-hours events to keep folks ever-vigilant and ever-entertained.
