About A Chat with Amy Tunnell Zumba
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
We are a community of Zumba enthusiast! We are a bit more laid back than your local gym or rec center class because we have time to chat before and after classes. We are a close knit group and also host many of the larger Zumba events in the Denver metro. We look forward to getting to know you!
Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged?
The motivation comes with the music and the choreography. I like to keep it fresh and especially in Zumba Toning focus on the challenge of sculping the body. My Zumba Toning class is not just dancing with Toning Sticks. It is focussed on sculpting the bottom, the abdominals and the tricepts.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I loved Zumba from the first day I attended a class in 2007. 3 months later I was teaching. I wanted to do more than work at a gym or dance studio. I wanted to have the flexibility to do things my way...to have inspirational fitness events and to have a community atmosphere.
What do you love most about your job?
I love that I get to help people achieve their goals. Some people come to lose weight, some come to tone up, some come for community, others come for emotional enlightenment. Zumba is not just to get in shape. It is to be more happy. No matter how low I feel, Zumba always makes me feel better.
