Thanks to its location just off the beach, Anglers is the type of place you'd pop into without much thought. But rest assured, whatever you order there has been very thoughtfully prepared. Chef Don, who has been working with owners Barb and Joel Beaudry since they teamed up at Lands End Tavern, puts his own spin on each seafood dish. Guests can watch with their eyes or through binoculars as fresh oysters are breaded to order. They'll dip fried calamari in housemade marinara, and opt to eat soft-shell crab sandwiches open-faced because the meat is just too good. Even the drinks show great effort—Joel mixes each batch of sangria from his own recipe, and fresh shrimp are skewered for the garnish on bloody marys.
