During lessons, certified instructors steer student hands through step-by-step brush strokes, which culminate in original pieces that attendees tote home. Pupils can sip on either beer or wine as they daub canvases with a predetermined image, such as a stylized tree, flowering landscape, or a topographical map of their favorite mesa. With a maximum class size of 20, courses entail personalized tutoring in a convivial environment. The center equips prospective portraitists with all the necessary materials, including corkscrews and wine glasses, though lessons on maintaining a properly brooding face require an additional fee.
