Q&A with the Fitness Training Profesonal
Exercise is challenging, and people frequently give up on their fitness routines. How do you keep clients motivated?
Show them where they started from, show them their progress or how far they've come, and remind them the reasons they began.
Besides working out, what else can clients do to spend their time at your facility?
Well, most people who come to our club, like to work out with no distractions. But what we do offer is nutrition consulting and suggestions. And [along] with our nutritional supplements we have...ready-to-go drinks and bars, soft goods, etc... Also, we're working on adding a reflexologist soon.
Do you run your gym according to a particular exercise philosophy?
Yes. we have been and always will be a "judgment-free zone."
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
Just this: I've worked with all walks of life in fitness for over 30 years. I know this one thing to be true, for any human, high intense athlete or gardener, the body needs 1) supportive eating 2) cardio exercise and 3) resistance training for over-all heath and wellness.
