Great food! Service was slow. They are under staffed. From arrival to exit, it was 2.5 hours.

Epitome of service & delicious high-class dining! Our waiter was very attentive and knew when to chat, as well as when to leave us to a romantic dinner. Selecting for 5-course for an add’l $20 each was certainly wise, as it adds much more than the cost, and really made the experience that more special. We selected a wine that was amazing & perfectly complimented our Filet Mignon & Elk Tenderloin!

We had a wonderful dinner. Absolutely delicious and first class. It was a real treat to see Tyler again. As my son says, “He’s the Man!”. And he really is. The food presentation and service is always impeccable. We will be back soon.

Experience was overall good. I had to wait for a little bit because they are understaffed. The food was good and the flavors are excellent and different.

Food was ok. Service was decent. The restaurant needs serious updating. It looks like both inside and outside haven’t been touched in 15 years.

Average restaurant. I would not say the food was amazing, it was ok. Not worth the price even with a Groupon. Way over-priced.

About Briarhurst Manor Restaurant

Pikes Peak overlooks Briarhurst Manor Restaurant at the South Entrance to Garden of The Gods, and the pink sandstone Tudor-style manor was constructed as a private summer home for Manitou Springs town founder Dr. William Bell in 1876. The English country architecture showcases elegant flourishes such as 11 wood-detailed dining rooms with tiled fireplaces and dark-wood boiserie, and a garden room where sunlight streams through towering stained glass windows. The gorgeous setting, along with its gourmet menu and gracious staff, led to Briarhurst Manor being named 1 of the 100 most romantic restaurants in the country according to OpenTable's 2012 and 2013 Diners' Choice awards.

The cuisine matches the interior’s opulence: Executive Sean Evans glazes duck-shank confit in a gooseberry cassis, and augments the flavor of Colorado lamb chops with chestnut fig jus. Cabernet sauvignons and chardonnays from Napa Valley and malbecs from Argentina punctuate the restaurant's extensive and carefully cultivated wine list.
