Our sever was excellent...we actually had him once before. He took the time to give us a little history of the manor, told us a hysterical ghost story, and facilitated a family picture. The food was excellent as always.

Visited The Briarhurst midweek for an early Valentine dinner with my husband. As usual, our dining experience was wonderful. The food was delicious and perfectly portioned. Our server, David, was so attentive, personable and customer oriented - you'll be lucky if you're seated in his section! The ambiance and history of the Briarhurst are true treasures of Manitou Springs.

About Briarhurst Manor Restaurant

Pikes Peak overlooks Briarhurst Manor Restaurant at the South Entrance to Garden of The Gods, and the pink sandstone Tudor-style manor was constructed as a private summer home for Manitou Springs town founder Dr. William Bell in 1876. The English country architecture showcases elegant flourishes such as 11 wood-detailed dining rooms with tiled fireplaces and dark-wood boiserie, and a garden room where sunlight streams through towering stained glass windows. The gorgeous setting, along with its gourmet menu and gracious staff, led to Briarhurst Manor being named 1 of the 100 most romantic restaurants in the country according to OpenTable's 2012 and 2013 Diners' Choice awards.

The cuisine matches the interior’s opulence: Executive Sean Evans glazes duck-shank confit in a gooseberry cassis, and augments the flavor of Colorado lamb chops with chestnut fig jus. Cabernet sauvignons and chardonnays from Napa Valley and malbecs from Argentina punctuate the restaurant's extensive and carefully cultivated wine list.
