Children learn techniques for rolling, wrapping, and slicing colorful polymer clay during two-hour classes for kids aged 8 and up, as well as adults who wish to join in on the class. Adults can choose from five classes, creating polymer clay pieces such as wall sculptures, three-dimensional sun figures, and tiny models of a tiny person’s face.

Clay Squared to Infinity

When Layl McDill's daughters were little, she would carry small bricks of polymer clay in her purse for them to play with. Over the years, the pastime evolved into a serious profession for her. Forming ropes of the colorful, malleable material into millefiore canes, McDill honed her skills, creating patterns, pictures from the carefully sliced clay logs. With the help and support of her husband and fellow artist, Josh Blanc, Layl founded Clay Squared to Infinity in 1996, where today she not only creates and displays her own artwork, but also leads classes for clay-curious artists of all ages.

Awesome experience! Had an awesome time with my little sister through Big Brother Big Sister! Definitely recommend! Class was fun and perfect for 6-16 year olds!!

I had so much fun at my first class, I went back and took my family - including my 9 yr old son! Everyone loved it. The instruction is good and the results are such a kick. I highly recommend this activity!
