Students should bring their camera, preferably a DSLR if they have one; the instructor will be glad to share advice on buying a DSLR for students who don’t. Editing students should bring a laptop if possible, and will receive a free copy of the editing software used in class.
Colorado Photography School
The classes at Colorado Photography School cover just about every imaginable facet of modern photography, from buying and bonding with one's first DSLR to embarking on a wedding-photography career to finding yourself on the other side of the lens as a model. Software classes help you perfect images post-shoot by learning to use basic editing programs and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom rather than painting directly on your laptop screen. There are also subject-specific sessions on topics such as landscape photography—a special favorite of school founder Simon Andrews, who's managed to find time for plenty of wilderness excursions in his decade as a pro photographer.
“Great info! The Composition class is more lecture than action, but it is the basis for the classes to follow. Enjoy!”
