Twenty years ago, Scott Bender—not yet a doctor of chiropractic—struggled with terrible lower back pain. In time, the pain dissipated, but the impact proved lasting. Through his own experience, Bender developed a passion for assisting others in pain. This passion led him to become a chiropractor, and, ultimately, to found Connecticut Spine and Health Center.
Today, Dr. Bender and fellow chiropractor Grisell Paz help clients conquer pain with spinal adjustment, physical therapy, and even cold lasers and ultrasound machines. Dr. Bender understands that a person's wellness involves more than just a properly aligned skeleton and making sure that it's still inside them, so he tries to ensure each client's well-being on a nutritional and emotional level, as well.
