About A Chat with Container Collective Yoga
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? Brittany makes anyone on the mat feel confident to stretch beyond their yoga comfort zone. She observes each individual's skill level, then shares when the student is ready to challenge themselves more. She gently guides, enthusiastically supports, and then celebrates each yogi's personal successes.
Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged? By holding consistent yoga sessions, as well as offering classes that work around the clients' busy schedules, with gentle reminders of encouragement to keep it up.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business? I've worked heavily with teenagers for most of my career, while working with adults and friends on the side. Slowly I began to realize that the adults needed someone to say, "you can do it!" just as much as the teens. Now I have 55-year-old clients saying, "wow, I haven't done that since I was a kid!"
What do you love most about your job? I love sharing the yoga high. That feeling you get after you've gotten your heart rate up, strengthened your core/arms/legs/back, balanced on one leg, stretched your entire body, and have changed your perspective for a bit, all while breathing on purpose. Yep, that feeling is the best.
