During the classes, students watch and learn as Chef Codey prepares gourmet dishes loosely arrayed around a theme, such as “pizza” or “Thanksgiving dinner.” When the instructive meal is ready, guests dig in, enjoying each course with a wine pairing. On their way out, students also enjoy 15% off all the shop’s wares.
Di Olivas' founders travel throughout the Mediterranean and Middle East to sample the region's gourmet oils and vinegars, then bring the best ones back to the store's two Saint Louis–area locations, where patrons can draw up to 25 ounces of their favorite straight from the fusti. Each shop also stocks balsamic vinegars.
