About El Menudazo

El Menudazo specializes in one very unique dish: menudo. This traditional soup is made by slowly simmering tripe in a spicy red-chile broth. It's eaten all over Mexico, often during special occasions and family gatherings, and it's even been rumored to have hangover-curing properties.

Given menudo's importance to Mexican culture, it's no wonder that the restaurant's owners—natives of the states of Sonora, Jalisco, and Veracruz—decided to make it the star of their menu. But they cook up a whole cast of supporting players, too. Diners can also order authentic Mexican dishes such as pozole, shrimp ceviche, and tacos loaded with your choice of pork, steak, or chorizo.
