Lady Cbreeze (Fridays at 11:30 p.m.)
Billing herself as Rockville Rooftop Live’s resident curator of intelligent dance music, DJ Cbreeze hosts ecumenical celebrations of house tunes every Thursday and Friday throughout the summer. Joined by a rotating cast of supporting DJs, Cbreeze draws on dance genres ranging from the original 1980s Chicago house to modern permutations such as acid and dubstep.
Bad Influence (July 19 at 8 p.m.)
"Dressing Like You Don't Dress for Me" live Wryly referring to their career as a "20 year overnight success," the veteran musicians of Bad Influence continue to churn out some of the capital's funkiest blues music. Winners of the 2001 Washington Area Music Association award for best blues recording, the group features standout regional performers such as blues harpist Roger Edsall, considered one of the best harmonica players in the mid-Atlantic region. Higher Hands (August 2 at 8 p.m.)
"You Can Feel" and "We Fight We Love" This Annapolis, Maryland-based [group](http://higherhandsmusic.com/) blends funk and soul in live performances and studio recordings, including on their sophomore album, _Stay Sharp_. Self-described improvisers, the band draws from their talents, Troy Atkins' saxophone, and Marty Grigsby's congas and bongos to deliver an energetic, funky fresh live set. The Morrison Brothers Band (August 16 at 8 p.m.)
"South Texas Blues" Originally based out of California, The Morrison Brothers Band returned to their hometown and musical roots with a 2008 relocation to Washington, D.C. Performing an eclectic blend of rock, blues, and country music, the sextet tours regularly throughout the South and Eastern seaboard, electrifying audiences with their energetic performances and the Van de Graaf generator their roadie insists on bringing everywhere.
