About Evansville Taco Festival
Looking for an idea how to spend a perfect weekend in September? Look no further. The Evansville Taco Festival invites everyone to join a celebration of Hispanic food and lifestyle in Downtown Evansville. The festival features more than twenty best taco and food vendors, including Chino Taco, La Campirana, and Tacos Dona Gloria. While adults dine on tacos and sip on refreshing frozen margaritas, children can hop on a mechanical bull, have their faces painted, or take part in a variety of fun-filled games and art activities. Fearless festival-goers can participate in a Chili Pepper Eating Contest, and those, who feel particularly creative that day may dress up as taco and try to win Best Taco Eccentric Dress Contest—a sight you don't usually see in Evansville, that's for sure.
