Icebar

Filled with 70 tons of carved ice and most recently inspired by Ernest Shackleton's failed Antarctic expedition, Icebar's 22-degree, bacchanalian winterscape earned itself a feature in Frommer's and a spot on the Travel Channel's list of The World's Coolest Bars. After bundling up with gloves and jackets or in rentable faux fur coats, guests can spend an unlimited amount of time touring the room's collection of frozen sculptures, floes, and sled-dog huts, raising toasts to their favorites with glasses made entirely out of ice. Frozen faux-fur lined stools line the bar, where mixologists pour frosty cocktails and root around for two identical snowflakes.

The adjacent Fire Lounge allows visitors to warm up afterward by snagging a drink from the full-service bar or bobbing their heads to the mixes of Orlando's best DJs. The pulsing sound system helps to get blood flowing again while lasers and strobe lights scan the room for any escaped snowglobes.

A great place to go. Especially to cool off from the heat. Staff was excellent

It was the highlight of our vacation to Orlando, it's fun and unique something we've never done before. The bar is cold but you get to go out and warm up between trips inside the actual ice bar it's self. The food was ok we had the hot wings and Philly cheesecake sliders, the sliders were much better than the wings. The drinks were great and both bartenders were really friendly. I meet a lot of nice people the music was good ( Dj could have made better transition from song to song) the dance floor would be full and people dancing then he switches to somethings totally different ( slow) and almost everyone would clear the dance floor. You get the choice to have the regular coat & gloves or upgrade for $10 to the fur coats. The regular ones worked out very well for us. I would definitely recommend it if you're in the Orlando area. Totally worth every penny and the Groupon was a great deal
