What stands out at The Hair Lounge are the clients. They are walking advertisements. We give each client our full attention and always try our best to make our clients happy. I believe that one of the most important parts in this job is educating clients and being honest with them 100% of the time.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Our biggest inspiration always has been how a stylist can transform a person. We love to see people feel confident about themselves. How a person feels is important. It’s fun keeping up with ever-changing hair and fashion. People want to replicate that and that’s our job as a stylists.
What do you love most about your job?
What we love most are the clients. We have bonded with many people. Every client has taught us something, big or small. This job is constantly changing and you have to be willing to accept change and challenges. Our job always requires advanced education and you have be able to keep up with it all.
What is the best reaction you’ve ever gotten from a customer?
The best feedback is a returning client and a referred client. It feels really great to know someone enjoyed their time with you enough to come back to see you or to refer someone they know. We love hearing that we made someone feel good about themselves—that’s always wonderful and it’s reassuring.
