maxExposure4 Photography Philosophy of Learning is from the bottom up! Every level student starts at the beginning with the basics of photography principles (composition, rule of thirds, focus points). Then we tackle your camera, starting with the basics and building up to more advanced techniques!!
Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?
Students need to bring their camera fully charged, cleaned and loaded with a memory card ready to go. Bring your bag and any accessories for show & tell. Keep the hard copy of your manual with your camera. You can download one if you have misplaced it. Notes, links, tips, shooting guide etc..emailed
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I have always loved photography but I hate being frustrated! As soon as I started taking classes I realized many adjustments were simple and easy to understand. The camera can be very intimidating with all the menus & buttons. Once you get past the fear & confusion, YOU control your camera instead!
What do you love most about your job?
I love teaching other creative people how to use their tools to create beautiful, interesting, unique & meaningful photos. Each person has their own style & passion for various types of photography. Once they learn the basic principles of light, composition, perspective & color, the world looks new!
