Great day trip for beginner kayakers with a patient and knowledgeable guide. Great views of pelicans, cormorants, seals, and a nice light lunch on the beach.

What You'll Get

The Deal

  • $46.99 for a four-hour kayak tour ($85 value)

The Morning at White Gulch kayak tour launches from Nick’s Cove and leads paddlers across Tomales Bay and into White Gulch, a serene cove that derives its name from the white-sandstone cliffs that surround the water. As they paddle, tour-goers may catch glimpses of bat rays and leopard sharks passing beneath the surf as well as tule elk, waterfowl, and harbor seals patrolling the shores. Before making the journey back across the bay, kayakers will set up a picnic at the beach and enjoy a light snack of fresh bread, organic fruit, and local cheeses.
