The atmosphere is warm and inviting, calm and relaxed. You can take a full breath all the way in and all the way out, and let your hair down. There are rocks, crystals and minerals in the front room; a salt block wall is nestled in the Welcome Desk. It seems to glow with rich, ambient light. The massage room was dim with blue walls, rolling ocean artwork on the wall, sparkling mosaics casting calmly entrancing patterns as chimes or waves played in a subdued manner in the background. Very relaxing. The linens were awash in a lovely herbal aroma. Every sense was calmed and smoothed. The massage itself was smooth and calmly professional. Ms. Kelly was willing to talk or be quiet, whatever my mood. Her hands were skilled and comforting. I was surprised at what a lovely difference being in the Salt Room for an hour after the massage made. To be able to be still and be quiet was so luxurious. The rhythm of the salt entering the room was lulling and the subdued music from the massage room continued throughout all the rooms. As I am unaccustomed to being still and quiet, they offered increased lighting so I could read amidst the ambient glow of the salt blocks, sitting in the 0-gravity chair, as the salt granules gently entered the air. This would be a lovely place for yoga after massage. It was peaceful, calming, and rejuvenating. Exactly what one hopes to find when seeking massage therapy.
