The Buzzer Beater Restaurant
Not many people can say they've shot hoops on the same court as Chris “Birdman” Andersen. Except, of course, anyone who's tossed up a few at The Buzzer Beater Restaurant. An official partner of Heat Nation, the sports bar has had the pleasure of hosting both Birdman and the Heat Dancers. If that's not enticing enough, here are a few more reasons to hustle over to The Buzzer Beater:
To watch the game. With flat-screen TVs even larger than a backboard—including two that measure 80 inches apiece—The Buzzer Beater is a no-brainer for game night. Not only does the restaurant show tons of NBA and NCAA basketball games, it also broadcasts soccer games and title fights.
To eat like a champ. There's no going hungry at this spot. Build your own burger with piles of bacon, avocado, and caramelized onions, among other toppings, or dig into full racks of ribs or seafood spaghetti.
To drink like one, too. Flavored mojitos, bottled imports, fruit smoothies, Yuengling on draft, espresso drinks—visitors can take their pick.
To shoot hoops, of course. Side-by-side baskets are backed by a mural of all-time NBA greats, including Dr. J and Oscar Robertson. Pro tip: Wear your favorite Heat jersey, challenge a fellow patron to a free-throw contest, win, and then be entered in a weekly raffle for Heat tickets. Birdman would be proud.
