Cold Rooms? Here's More Blankets! Since I could walk across the street to Cowboys Stadium, this must be a great place to stay, right? Wrong!! On so many levels, I was wrong. First, even as a guest, you MUST pay to park since the lot is owned by another company. Yeah, the fine print is in force here. Or they just tell you upon arrival like they told me. Surprise! I'm not done. It was a pricey room for one night but with the Rose Bowl at Jerry World, I get it. Ok, so I have to pay for parking even though I'm a guest - that's $40. Ok, now the room with taxes will be $150. Ouch! But I can walk across the street so, well, ok, let's make it happen. Wait. What did you say? I must've gone deaf for a second. I thought the front desk clerk, Veronica, said "Oh, by the way, our heater is broken so all the rooms are cold." Well, how cold is 'cold'? Before she could answer I asked a couple of people who were making their way to rooms. "Excuse me" I say, "how cold are your rooms?" Being wrapped in parkas and Ugga boots should've been my clue. "COLD" was the chorus from the folks I asked along with a group trailing them. Enough said. Message received. Like Bernie Mac would say after a routine: "I'm out this mutha*****!" Before I could leave, I was offered a 50% discount with the possibility of getting a space heater in the "deal". Hmm, let me get this straight. You will give me 50% off even though I will freeze 100% of my ass off! Well...NAH! The place is very old and not kept up as evidenced with the broken, old, heater system. There's no excuse in north Texas where it's friggin' cold to let such things creep up on a business that counts on tourist dollars especially now. Horrific management that must be replaced and all the more reason why Days Inn corporate should step in to correct this terrible issue. DON'T STAY AT THIS TRASH PLACE! The parking ($40) is the only reason this place is "attractive". Just don't get the room!

Worst place we have stayed The only good thing I can say about the hotel is that you can walk to the stadium. We booked a 2 bedroom suite with a king and 2 queen beds and a second room with 2 double beds. When we called the day before to confirm neither the reservation desk nor the hotel could find our reservation so they booked us into another suite, even though they said they were sold out. On our drive to Arlington we called to confirm again and they found both reservations but said that they only had one suite anyway and that it was all queen beds. We get to our room—-it is freezing cold and none of the TVs works. They send a handy man and eventually the tv’s work. The only heat source is a portable heater in one of the rooms. There are also 2 box fans. The front desk says they will bring another heater but they were never able to find one. At $200 a night I expected the room to be basic—but I never even thought it might not have heat! If it has air conditioning (as advertised) there is not a controller for it in the rooms. The bathroom door only closes if you push the hinges in as you close it. I would absolutely not recommend staying here.

I have not stayed there yet, IF and when i do i will change the rating, right now I am not happy I made reservations through a 3rd party, but the hotel is telling me they do not have my name. It is during Thanksgiving week. It is paid for. I have all the confirmation numbers. Then when I all the hotel they said I have to stay there multiple days because of the football game. I am really wanting to stay there even with a lot of bad reviews. Iam willing to give it my own try

Decent place when passing through Nice hotel, I stopped in and stayed at the same.time of the cottonbowl. The room was clean and the breakfast upstairs was sufficient. Also would like to note, at check in the lobby was extremely busy. Paisley was the young lady working and boy did that girl have a lot on her plate up there. I was impressed she stayed friendly and calm throughout the craziness of check in.
