Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Cleveland by IHG

Worst hotel ever This was the worst experience of my life. I drove 14 hours down with my family for my grandma funeral & I arrived was told my reservation was cancelled with no warning. When I inquired about it the girl at the desk at the time said the manager did it but she wouldn’t be in until the morning however she will get me a room. When I got to the room it was AWFUL just plain disgusting ! it looked like it was never clean I had to get off a 14 hour drive to come and clean the bathroom just so my children could use it and stop the beds. Thankfully I had purchased Lysol spray and wipes The first were sticky, the walls rings toilet everything. And of course I was too late so I had no other option to leave. We had 6 reservations 3 out of the six had to change rooms multiple times there wasn’t even a place for me to change to. In the morning I checked out ( thankfully an opening at the Lyric was available) and before I left to lay my grandma down to rest I spoke with said supervisor and showed her the same pictures I showed her employee last night and went over everything with her. She said the reason my room was canceled was because I didn’t have a card on file mind you because we are members it clearly said we can book and handle the card when we get there. She said I know it says that but that’s not the case and in regards to the room bc I stayed the night they could only give me points! That UNACCEPTABLE! I will never be staying at a nasty Holiday Inn Express & Suites ever again in my life. Why would I want point and what was I supposed to do after a 14 hour drive sleep in my car with my children because your hotel was disgusting had no house keeping no room to change to after we had seat paid for it? How is this on us. When I asked for corporate information she said this is corporate. Unacceptable. They made an already difficult grieving situation more uncomfortable for our families who were traveling.

Your last choice for rooms in Cleveland Breakfast staff friendly, beds soft, but it stops there. Hallways filthy, fitness center closed until further notice, room smelled damp, a/c will not cool rooms. Soap, shampoo, etc., bottled for continuous use and hard to use. There are a few more good choices in Cleveland; let this be your last choice! Very expensive for such a small city.

Chilling in Cleveland MS I stayed at this property on Sept 14-16, 2023, room 207. Hotel on Hwy61, easy access and plenty of food options close. Check in was a little slow, probably due to the size of the group I was with. Room was neat with fridge/micro. Breakfast was fine, standard fare with hot items as an option. Ample parking. All interaction with the staff was pleasant.

It’s a sad world for some!!! Me and my husband stayed there one night! We were working at the store right across the street from the hotel! When we arrived we got a suite. And it was nice and clean! The hotel was very quiet as well! The beds were completely comfortable and we slept wonderful after a long hot day of work! The showers were very nice and clean as well! Here’s where the 1 out of 5 comes about! I would give it a zero because we checked out the next morning! We worked and drove 4 hours to our house! We were unpacking and my husband noticed his beats were not in his bag! So I called the hotel and asked if the cleaning ladies had found his beats! The receptionist was very nice and she said she would leave a note for the next mornings briefing! So I left my number and name and what room we stayed in! I didn’t hear anything so I called back around noon the following morning! A guy answered and I explained to him as well about the missing headphones my husband had left! And the cleaning ladies were right there and they said they didn’t see any! So don’t be fooled by sticky fingers there! One of the cleaning ladies got my husband’s headphones!

True Southern Hospitality Nice soft Bed a pillows, Customer service was great and breakfast was hot., Host was not so Friendly. We saw upset guest and host arguing and the manager stepped right in an resolved the issue, all we saw were smiles . She has such a great spirit. She smiles and warm welcomed all of us. We really enjoyed to southern Hospitality
