needs improvement We stayed here for our final night of a two-week-long road trip from southeastern PA to Nevada. We generally found this Hampton Inn a bit lower in quality than we usually encounter. First, the elevator was out of order, so we could not get our top floor choice as usual. The water backed up in the tub during our showers, and the tub was one of those rounded-bottom ones that I find painful to stand in during showering. The breakfast here was acceptable, with the typical Hampton Inn selections; however, the coffee was not hot. Overall, this hotel needs improvement.

DO NOT BOOK HERE _ YOU WILL BE SORRY because there are thieves I could only give this 1 star because there is no way to mark any less. The prices are outrageous and then charge an extra $150 deposit. Carpets are filthy. Pillows are tiny ,bed not comfortable, there are no door hangers for do not disturb , no tissues and the shower temperature is luke warm. On our first night( Thursday), One of ours car was broken into window busted and destroyed the steering column making it unable to drive. Plus another car was broken into as well. Their cameras don’t work in the parking lot . The owner was on site the next morning and didn’t even come out to speak with us after asking to talk to him. When the police arrive they let us know that they were there for the same thing the weekend before of cars being broke into. The staff was aware of the problem the previous weekend and never mention it to us. In fact They even told us that was closest entrance to the elevator to our room. As we checked on Sunday we learned that another car was broken into Saturday night. Stole school supplies and electronic for kids for school. I was told at check out the owner sold the hotel on Friday after all this went down. DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR VEHICLE OR ANY BELONGINGS. We were there for my granddaughter’s softball World Series tournament

Beware! Canceled our reservation We booked this hotel well in advance and checked in early on the app. We arrived to find out they had cancelled our reservation, leaving us high and dry at 9:00 at night 8 hours from home. The front desk person did absolutely nothing to help – corporate, who we spoke with later, said they should have called them to help us find other accommodations. Every hotel in the area was booked. We were lucky to find one at a much higher cost and Hilton/Hampton Inn will do nothing to compensate us except give us a small amount of points. Because we booked through a third party out of desperation, they claim there’s nothing they can do. They said we should have called corporate first, but when we did, we were on hold for 45 minutes. If we’d done that, we would have risked sleeping in our car. There’s plenty a corporation like Hilton can do. They just refuse. Horrible customer service. Hilton should be ashamed. We found out from our new hotel that they had taken in at least 15 other people who had the same thing happen to them. Hampton Inn told us they were at -2 reservations. Absolutely inexcusable.

Trust the bad reviews By far the worst Hampton I’ve ever stayed in. Defiantly not Hilton brand standard. Upon arrival parking lot had hardly any parking on front side due to people were parked all over the place because there are no visible parking lines. Upon walking in trash can by front door was over flowing trash on ground. Stayed like that entire stay. Hampton sign is leaning. Landscaping is lacking. Got to room. Musty smelling. and hot. Stains on floor. Multiple bulbs out with already minimum lighting in hotel rooms. Side table in between beds damaged. Toilet runs constantly. Just all around disappointing Hampton. Would not stay here again

Caution: very dissapointing My wife & I had the unfortunate experience to stay at this Hampton Inn. I'm a Hilton Diamond member and between businees and leisure travel of over 130 nights per year, I'd have to say this wasn't the absolute worst property I have stayed at but its close to it. First: the location is not bad as far as easy access on and off I-70 but its quite a bit east of Columbus and there isn't much around the immediate area as far as food or shopping selection. Second: Check in was a mixed up mess. The digital key didn't come through to my phone and when I arrived at the hotel about 6pm the Front Desk Manager told me the room I had picked wasn't available, in fact the entire 3rd floor wasn't available? Okay...no problem, I asked for an equivalent room and was given 223. Up to the 2nd floor and swiped the room card only to find it occupied by other guests. Back to the front desk and the staff member was apologetic but bewildered as to how this could be? Come on!!, I mean you don't know who is booked into your rooms?. I was given a room card for 229. We entered that room to discover a musty and dirty carpet, stains on the office chair, a broken base on the floor lamp and hair on the wall of the shower enclosure. The bathroom vanity has damage and the caulking was cracked and separated from the wall, the faucet is loose on the deck and the bathroom exhaust is non existant. I placed a torn piece of toilet paper against the grill and there was zero air flow. No doubt this isn't helping the musty smell in the room. As well there was no kleneex plus the shampoo and conditoner bottles were both empty. Back to the front desk to get the shampoo etc. Again the front desk person was apologetic and unsure how this happened. I used to manage a number of very large Commercial buildings in Toronto, New York, London and Chicago for 27 years so I tend to look at everything in my hotel rooms because the details are critical to a good guest experience. This hotel is absolutely run down and long over due for updates. It by no means meets proper "Hilton" standards let alone cleanliness from a health and safety perspective. Normally when I travel I look at the guest reviews before booking but because I've stayed at dozens and dozens of Hampton Inn's before I just expected the usual good standard that I usually enjoy. Unfortunatley not this time. I'd advise anyone thinking of staying here to think twice and read the all the reviews for themselves.
