Don't do it! I would rather sleep in my car than this filthy disgusting place. We read reviews which seemedixed but my husband convinced me to give it a shot. It's only for a place to sleep. We check in go to the room and the filth was apparent right away. The sink faucet was not attached. You had to hold it down to turn the water on. The toilet and shower are in a separate room. It is so small you cannot change in there. The shower looks like it was last cleaned during the Obama administration. The floors were sticky wouldn't take off my socks. We said we will stay the night and cancelled our second night. We pull back the blanket and the sheets were dirty! I'm not sure what it was but it was brown... I called down to the front desk to get clean sheets. He was like we will have housekeeping tomorrow. I said the sheets are dirty. I am not sleeping on this. It's brown, could be feces! He seemed annoyed but got us sheets to change the bed. Then the smell of pot wafting through from the people enjoying their night was beyond disgusting. Do yourself a favor and find a better place.

Birthday bummer!! July 19th, 2024 It started fine. We stayed there so we could walk to the venue, distance was perfect for walking and we only had to take bare minimum, no car keys, nothing but room key and money in pockets. Ok, so we get back to room after concert, room key will not work, we go to office and the extremely rude lady acted like we were such a bother. She said she didn’t have a master key, lied! She made us several keys to try approx 6 times. She then walked off to check a room we could have, WITH a master key. So we get to this room and it was dirty, by this time it was 2:00am and we’re just wore out. Over 2 hours and we can finally lay down. No food, no keys to go get food. So frustrating. Her attitude was awful! We woke about 7 am and went to desk. Luckily someone different was there and he (OMAR JAMES) was very sympathetic and apologetic, super nice! I wish I knew her name, needs lessons on customer service, especially when there’s 2 women with no access to their belongings and/or even a bed to lay on. Omar worked very hard to get us in the room and made sure my refund got issued. Oh…it was my 60th birthday celebration and couldn’t even enjoy a few beers with my bestie and relax after the concert. Never again!! Red Roof needs to teach her a few things!!! Or get rid of her.

Basic lodgings, but perfectly fine for my purpose I was attending a conference that was held at the Blackwell Hotel. As I drove to Columbus, I had a car and chose the Red Roof as it was considerably less expensive. It was basic lodgings, but perfectly fine for my purpose. OSU is a short drive as are a selection of restaurants. Unlike similar hotels, they do not offer complimentary breakfast. My only issue was that I was not automatically emailed my receipt and had to call the next day which went without a hitch. Bottom line, I'd stay there again.

Close enough to walk to the stadium and good rooms! The hotel mainly targets concert and stadium goers. This trip, we lined up outside and waited for well over an hour to get checked into our room. A single clerk was doing the best he could do, certainly not reasonable to only schedule one desk clerk. The rest of our stay was great, no issues or complaints at all. The hotel was a longer walk than advertised, but walkable for sure. Able to stay out of traffic and enjoy the weekend. We certainly recommend for stadium goers.

Sold my reservation! Do not trust this hotel. They sold my reservation before I checked into the hotel. Then NO rooms were left during the Ohio State/Penn State game. After talking with Management and corporate, they did not care or offer any reason.
