Mandatory $8 daily resort fee Stayed on points so I don't know if everyone got hit with this daily $8 fee or it's just a penalty for using Choice Privileges points. I believe it's ostensibly to cover the free dixie cups of ice cream, hot soup, and iced coffee available in the lobby. Didn't partake of any of it so didn't really want to pay for it. Otherwise no complaints. Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Best cable tv channel selection I've seen in years. Beautiful landscaping and plantings. Staff helpful and pleasant.

Excellent Hotel for Acadia National Park! We drove from Boston Airport to Comfort Inn Ellsworth - Bar Harbor. We stayed one night. Next day we drove to Acadia NP and stayed in Bar Harbor. The hotel was well maintained. We got free soup and free ice cream. The breakfast was good. The internet WIFI was good.

Dog friendly Stayed here with our 2 dogs. We were on the first floor. Easy to bring dogs out. There was a grassy section next to hotel for the dogs. Waste bags were provided. The Down East Sunrise trail can be accessed from hotel parking lot. Room was clean and comfortable.

Comfortable stay great Staff Was here at the end of July 2024 while visiting Bar Harbor. The front desk staff was very knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. The rooms and the hotel were very clean. Breakfast was ok. It is located on the main road, but still, it was quiet. Parking was convenient.

Great hotel. The hotel is in a decent location, about halfway between Bar Harbour and Bangor so not too far from either. Hotel is very clean, and the staff are friendly. Breakfast is decent, it is the usual breakfast provided by most hotels. Would recommend.
