Sleep Inn & Suites - Airport

Wasn’t as nice as the picture on the website! The pool was closed , the vending machine took my money was told that there just there could not get my money back the washers don’t work it stinks the Breakfast was the same thing every day it smells like dog poop outside you see dog poop all over the landscaping rocks on the side of the hotel. When you step out the Internet was down for about four days. The elevator was broken for about four days.

Absolutely horrible hotel experience This hotel was so horrible honestly if I didn't live 2hrs away and needed to be in Grandrapids the next day for my kids appointment I would of left. The website is so deceiving. The pictures of the hotel look really nice and if you look at your room thinking that's what your getting. Don't because your wrong. The hotel is very dirty it smelled funky. The rooms are dirty also scary that the doors don't fully lock it's broke. Also it is frustrating most staff don't speak English and you have to speak into their phone for them to understand you_. Which isn't their fault everyone deserves the opportunity to work but needs to be a way to translate. What really upset me is that I booked a family room which was supposed to be spacious that's not what I got. We got a very tiny room that the bathroom was smaller then my camper bathroom. After being very upset and talking to front desk for half hour she did change rooms for us. But told me several times that one don't go by the pictures on the website of rooms or the hotel it's not the same. Also unless u call and book anything you put online for accommodations won't be honored. _ Even though I did call morning of to double check everything. Then I was excited for the hot tub while my kids played in pool as was in website pictures guess what no longer have hot tub_. Save your money!! This was a waste of $81 bad thing is apparently this was a special price.

GREAT MANAGEMENT AND FRONT DESK So I loved this stay I just had. The front desk is AMAZING and very good new GM who is accommodating and very hands on. The rooms were spacious. I would give it 5 stars but my only complaint is the the kitchen staff and housekeeping are very rude and you have to ask them for everything as they do not come and ask if you need anything. I would only suggest that some new people are hired for those positions and some English speaking ones to accommodate all guest. Overall though great location, a lot of food places, mall is around the corner and theater, safe area, and the rooms are clean and fresh sheets with great management and front desk staff were all kind, friendly, and welcoming. I recommend this place.

Lesson learned Booked this hotel because it was the cheapest available for a tournament weekend Still paid 145 a night… and we got what we paid for. Bed was not a queen but a full and was old and broken down. The whole place smelled musty and just felt grimy and run down. Very low budget place.

OK, But could be better When I arrived I noticed that a single window on the second floor was open. The temperature was in the mid-90s. I went to my room it was the one that had the opened window and the AC would not work. I was assigned a different room. The cleaning of the room could be better. This hotel appears to be going down hill. The management should be better. The continental breakfast could be better.
