Cockroaches, overpriced & NO communication PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID! We paid over triple the standard price for this hotel at last minute during Mardi Gras weekend - wouldn't have minded at all if it was at least comfortable & clean! Ist room - cockroaches, toilet not secured to the floore & a window into the hallway that didn't close properly so passers by could see everything! 2nd room - tapware missing & tools in the bath. 3rd room - more cockroaches, heating didn't work & incredibly thin bedding with no spare blanket etc available. No bathmat & no spare towel to use so no choice but to walk on the dusty cold floor. No phone to call reception & internet didn't work. Obviously mid renovation as holes in the wall were plugged up with paper & painting not finished. No other hotels available & had paid in advance so had no choice but to stay. Spoke to Reception about my concerns & she told me to contact the manager. Have sent numerous emails since leaving & surprise.... no reply!!! They have my money, so don't care about return business or customer service & satisfaction!

Do not go there! What a horrible place. Coffee down in the hall, not even every morning. We moved from one room to another as we had no iron or table, thank God I had brought my own hair dryer. Second room was full of fungus, so the room was humid all the time, the towel you used in the evening, was still humid in the a.m. and marks on the ceiling. Third room was finally dry... felt a bit claustrophobic but after the 2 others... Then parking... guests can't park in front of the hotel but a bar with very fancy cars park there. Guests have to park in the back of the hotel's shady parking lot which doesn't even locks... and sometimes you even had to walk from the parking to the street to get to the hotel because the entrance door from lot to hotel didn't work. The cherry on top, marijuana smell...

You don’t want to stay here!! Don’t let the outside appearance fool you! From the outside, it looks like one of the nicer, historic hotels like they have in the French Quarter but the rooms are horrible. This is also a very unsafe area with two bars across the street so there’s shady people all around the hotel at all hours. We had to put a chair under the door knob because the extra security lock was broken. They don’t even have the basic amnesties like a coffee maker, hair dryer, microwave, mini fridge, etc. It’s 4 walls with a TV on the wall and a bed. That’s it! When we got to our room we had to be moved because the vanity light didn’t work. They moved us and that vanity light flickered off and on so when we reported it, they brought us a lamp. The AC was very loud and rattled all night, making it hard to fall asleep. The hallways smell like marijuana all the time. This place is horrible!

Not what I expected. I booked a room in advance of my arrival. The amenities were to be as follows: a microwave, a coffee pot with coffee cream and sugar, and a balcony. The room I was given had neither of those. Plus, the room I was in did not have a chair in which I could sit and relax, to watch TV. And the only desk was the desk where the TV was at. So when I wanted to do some work on my Laptop, it was impossible to just sit back and see the TV between breaks. So the night I spent there was really one of my worst stays at a hotel. Would I recommend this hotel to someone, YES, if all you want to do is get some sleep. But for Business NO.

Freshly Renovated & Clean I stayed at this hotel about 2 weeks ago just as COVID-19 restrictions were beginning to ease. I was still quite worried about cleanliness and social distancing. Fortunately, my concerns were quickly put to rest upon arriving at this hotel. The whole hotel seems to have been freshly renovated. It even has the faint smell of fresh paint & cleanser. The hotel is modest and tidy. My room seemed as if I were perhaps the first person to stay in it post-renovation. I was relived and relaxed in my room. I opted to take an Uber to the French Quarter two miles down the road. It cost me exactly $8 although there is apparently a bus right next to the hotel that would have taken me for $1.25. It's a cheap, clean, freshly renovated, no thrills sorta place which was perfect for me. I didn't spend an abundance of time in my room because I was too busy exploring the fabulous city
