Howard Johnson Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Orange

Most disgusting Hotel I have ever seen!!!!!! PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! Pictures are a lie!!!!! No water in the pool. It is filthy; you turn on the water in the bathroom sink smells like poop. My husband and I arrived, and the frontman was genuinely lovely, but all around him were crackheads and dumpster divers. As you are entering the lobby, I guess some people must live there, so there are meth heads who live there. You definitely can tell. It was for a Motorcycle event my Husband and I always attend every year, and there were tons of trashy guys with no shirts and boxers cracking beers open and all drunk, hanging over the rails; it was disgusting. I explained to my husband that I don’t care if we lose the money!! But this place is unsafe, and we probably won’t be alive by tomorrow morning; let’s get out of here. This place needs to be shut down. I agree; with all the other reviews on here, it is true: why hasn't it been shut down? that is beyond me!

THE WORST WORST WORST DO NOT CHECK IN HERE!!! THE WORST. I booked two rooms for visiting professors. They were insulted at check-in. The pool was empty. The "manager, " "Paul," was rude and condescending. The hotel had MY credit card info. Then took my GUESTS' credit card info. My guests attempted to go look at their room/the property, then decided not to stay there. when they returned to the front desk, they were told they were BEING CHARGED FOR THE NIGHT!!! They were looking around property for less. than 30 minutes! My guest asked for a receipt with a time stamp. "Paul" CUT OFF the bottom with the "out" time!!!! She then asked for a digital receipt. By this time it showed 31 minutes. HE LIED. TRIED TO HIDE IT. THEN REFUSED TO REFUND WHAT HE CHARGED THEM ON THEIR CREDIT CARD. Later, my other guests checked in. Almost the same thing happened, so they just decided to stay. They said it was filthy, and didn't even remotely resemble the photos on Hotels.com. One of my guests got the photos, but unfortunately didn't get a photo of the BROKEN WINDOW IN THEIR ROOM. I think my next call is to the OC BBB and all groups that recommend places in the OC/Orange area. This place needs to be shut down. (NOW GOING UNDER THE NAME CASA BLANCA HOTEL AND SUITES!!!!!) Update: ANNNNND...In ADDITION to billing my guests, I found out he billed MY card as well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Highly recommended. No longer a HOJoS. Owners are awesome. Super nice and accommodating owners. Went out of their way to make our stay fun and comfortable. We were on bikes for a show at the local park and felt at home the whole stay. Awesome cleaning crew and plenty of choices for food within walking distance.

Excellent stay Convenient quiet location with a large room, very comfortable bed, microwave, refrigerator, coffee, all one could need. It was also quiet even though close to the freeway. Lots of parking available.. Manager was very helpful
