CHATEAU LES CRAYERES

Beautiful Chateaux We stayed here as a family of 5 (3 teenagers) in the Chateau. We had interconnecting rooms, kids had a big room with lots of space. Everything was beautiful. Hotel and staff are highly responsive through out the enquiry and booking process, ensuring that the kids would be next to us. Staff are very welcoming and made us feel at home. Wish we could have stayed longer and relaxed! Within walking distance to Veuve Clicquot.

Magnificent This hotel fulfilled or exceeded every expectation. We stayed for two days with unfortunately dreary weather in late June. We arrived at the hotel prior to check in to facilitate lunch at Le Parc. Everything was flawless. We were led to the bar for check in formalities with champagne in hand. The waiters from Le Parc introduced the tasting menu options and wines, and we were then seated for a really magnificent lunch. Our room (28) was pleasant. The bedroom itself quite small, but the bathrooms lovely and light filled. It was traditional in style, but not dated, with an elegant blue and white oriental china theme. Of note, top floor rooms would have lower ceilings. Both restaurants on site are fabulous. The garden restaurant is exceptionally good value for a hotel restaurant. The hotel is ideally located for visits to champagne houses around Reims. Cliquot, Pommery and Ruinart all a short stroll. My two comments… For those coming off long haul flights and arriving prior to check in the hotel does not have facilities for showering or freshening up. This prompted us to change our whole flight booking for our lunch. Also, the breakfast lacked ambience. They need music in the dining room. Overall, breakfast food is of excellent quality, The continental offering is expansive. The hot food portions are tiny- an attempt to be tasteful, but it seems almost cheap (two cherry tomatoes… bacon is half a rasher cut up).

Spectacular in all respects. Spectacular setting, service and food. Our visit was a truly excellent experience. First impression is a real wow factor as the main building is truly stunning. All members of the team from arrival, to check in to valet to restaurants were professional, personable and charming. Dinner at le Jardin was memorable. Great food in a calm, sociable setting. We look forward to a second visit!

Spectacular This is a truly outstanding hotel and I truly could not fault a single aspect. Everything is of the highest quality - from the check-in welcome drinks, to the ease of wandering around the grounds, the friendly hellos as we came and went, ordering taxis and organising dinners with the concierge, etc. The electric bikes were a highlight as we could ride into town to explore! I also wanted to call out the fantastic staff who were incredibly helpful and attentive without being overbearing. Thank you for a beautiful stay.
