Dog and people friendly We travel with 2, small dogs, that is why we chose to stay here. Upon arrival, we were informed that the elevator was not working. When we explained about the VERY heavy case that contains the dogs crates and other things, they told us we could put the case on the elevator and send it to the 2nd floor, it just couldn't tolerate the weight of people. So, that case went on the elevator and everything else wen up the stairs. Thankfully, they were able to put us on the 2nd floor. We were able to plug in our streaming equipment without issue and watch what we wanted, on the TV. The side doors were exit only, so one of waited by the door when we took the dogs out. They are very close to the Tillmook Cheese factory, which is why we stayed here. They are also close to the access roads for the trails out near the lighthouse. The beds felt like they hugged me every time I got into them. The a/c was not great, but it worked enough, along with our fan, to make the room pleasant. They have you pre-order your breakfast, instead of offering breakfast. You can also skip it, if you wish. All in all a nice little hotel.

Visit Tillamook Oregon The room was spacious and clean. The staff was very helpful doing the best they could do based on the situation they were in. When we called the front desk for reservation we were not told there was no pool, no elevator and that breakfast consisted of breakfast burrito or a breakfast sandwich-that is not a continental breakfast. We were awakened at 4:45AM when the smoke alarm went off which repeated for an additional 5 times on Saturday morning. There was no fire. The television in the room was pay per view only and no local stations available. There was no phone, you could not request a wake up call. There was no clock/radio to have an alarm go off if you needed to get up at a specified time.

Beds are terrible!!! This is a clean hotel, staff was nice. The problems are : the blinds in the room don’t make sense. They are actually a double pull down and unfortunately I did not see that until the morning so I spent the night with the security light shining in the room it felt like daylight all night long. No coffee pot in the king suite _ But the worst thing and reason for my review is the bed was the worst I’ve ever slept on , every movement squeaked. I kept waking up when my husband moved and he woke up every time I moved , we could not get comfortable, barley got two hours sleep. When I spoke to the staff they said they”know about the problems” I can’t believe they are still renting the rooms , they should shut down until the beds are fit to sleep on. Absolutely miserable experience.

Stinky Very old; badly in need of updating. Probably one of the worst hotel room I’ve rented. Very little was cleaned. Fitted sheet did not fit and would come off. We stayed 2 nights so had to refit the sheet each day. The worst was the stench from the bathroom. If they are going to remodel, wait for it!

Sorry, we gave your room away because someone told us to change the name… Check in was a mess, they gave away our room to someone who told them to “change the name” on the reservation. I mean someone walked in and literally took our room by simply telling them to change the name on the reservation - which I had booked through their website and prepaid! When we finally got to a different room - with no compensation for the mess they made, it was roomy, and relatively clean - but dang the walls in this place are paper thin. We could hear everything from the rooms beside us. It was so fun listening to an action movie at 5:30 am! _‍♂️ And just to top it off, breakfast was literally two toasted but cold English muffins and a scoop of peanut butter. We asked for coffee and they got us coffee…in child sized cups. You’ll think you want to stay here for the location, but you’ll keep coming back for the incompetence!
