Really nice morning treat Went for the morning spa session. We really enjoyed it. The look of the pool and spa facilities is a little dated but when you have beautiful lake views to look at, it is very easy to overlook this. Value for money. Also I would like to thank the lady on front desk of the spa who was just lovely and very helpful.

Tranquil gorgeous spa Gorgeous setting for a twilight spa experience. Lovely facilities and not too busy. Plenty of space between hot tubs so they feel private. Really friendly staff and the setting next to the lake is beautiful. Exactly what the end of a weekend needs. Can’t wait to come back again soon.

Super service from a warm and welcoming team My friends and I had a brilliant overnight stay at Waterton Park Hotel! We got a great spa package and the spa team were all lovely & accommodating, and the highlight was being treated like VIPs in the restaurant by lovely Janine, and her team including Klaudia who made us very welcome and gave us lots of extra treats which we hugely appreciated! This included extra generous servings of wine, a complimentary cheese board, and a glass of fizz at the end to round off a fun evening! Thank you so much for the exceptional service which made our stay extra enjoyable. We are sure to return!

Amazing and disappointing at the same time.... I will start of with saying there was some great stand outs from our stay. Kim who was at the pool/spa register was an absolute star! She was lovely and attentive. The spa was great we had facial and back massage, the products are remarkable! Felt very relaxed _ Now I am not one to complain about small things but here is where things start to add up. We arrive and I am told there is an outstanding balance which confused me as i payed online. I pay this anyway not wanting to stress my friend and we go to the room. The rooms are fine but quite average for the price. Now it was my friends 30th and I had ordered balloons and champagne to the room. The balloon is one red balloon literally! If I was told I wouldn't have payed for it. Champagne not there. We get a call with apologetic receptionist saying that the charge was a mistake and they will refund the money. That's fine we go down as we had a table booked for food. I get a refund receipt the lady is lovely says sorry all good. We walk to the restaurant area and they say that even though we have £30 as a part of our package each for food. At this time they only serve lunch so we can only order from that menu. This is at 4 pm.. If I would of know I would of delayed the booking. The menu tiny and the choices basically sandwiches and small bites. We get the champagne to the table.. The food was not good. We ate the sandwiche but left hungry and disappointed really... Then there is the wedding. There was a very raudy and loud wedding and they were in the same building with guests staying in a room next to us. Many many of them very drunk one man even hit my friend over the head while she went to the toilet from the spa bar. They were partying until 3am in the room next door to us. Playing music and talking/arguing very loudly. The reason I booked this spa night away was because all my friend wanted was a night of sleep since having a baby a year ago. This didn't go to plan as it was too loud. Then away from that point we get out of pool and we are starving since we didn't eat proper food. We call room service but we could not find a menu so we said we will come downstairs and order for the room as my friend wanted to buy something from their display. We go down buy the thing ask them if we can order the food and they point us to the bar. We walk and no one talks to us pays attention until I finally get someone to talk to me and I ask for a menu. Bare in mind we have been downstairs for nearly 30 minutes. The other lady turns around and says no kitchen closed you can not order. This was 8:50 at the point and they shut at 9 apparently. This annoyed us because at no point anyone told us this and no one payed attention to us earlier. It was not that busy and there was 4 of them there.... So we resorted to having to order something to takeout from somewhere... And to top off things we go down to check out and another woman at reception tells me I have not paid my balance. I ask her nicely explaing the night before confusion that I paid for everything online though spaseeker and they did this mistake yesterday. She actually looks at me and says no. I was again asking her to please just check until she finally agreed with me. And then just said a backhanded comment 'oh I wasn't here yesterday'. She did say sorry in the end but it felt very not genuine and just the last straw really. The building is beautiful, gardens well kept. The spa, the pools, the jacuzzis amazing and would 100% recommend. But please consider your other guests when booking in a wedding. It made us feel like our stay didn't matter because everyone's too busy running around the wedding. And it ruined our night/sleep. I would advise to prepare guests that there is a wedding and maybe don't book regular guests in rooms next to party. I know this was a long review but this was all in an honest push for improvement. It's a shame with such a great potential and maybe it was just our experience since the reviews are amazing. We would come back, but would really reconsider the sleepover probably just come for spa.
